GCEG Committee Statement, distributed on 31 July 2018:

We are very pleased to inform you that a standing committee of the Global Conference on Economic Geography ("GCEG Committee") has been established and that the following governance and principles of all future GCEG events were announced at the Cologne GCEG (2018) gala dinner. We expect that these will serve our community well in future.

Call for Bids to Host the 7th GCEG Event


Dear Colleagues,
With the 6th Global Conference on Economic Geography (GCEG) to be held in Dublin (7-10th of June, 2022; https://www.gceg.org/) approaching, we would like to start looking for colleagues and institutions interested in hosting the 7th GCEG in 2025 (or in 2026 at thelatest).

Potential candidates are invited to send us a short proposal (3-4 pages) which would include the following:

Proposals should be submitted by email by the end of February 2022 to (p.dannenberg@uni-koeln.de). If you have any questions or just want to indicate your intention to submit, please, do not hesitate to contact us.
